Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Annapolis Inn, I was pleasantly delighted by the harmonious fusion of comfort and culture. Nestled in a serene spot yet conveniently close to the bustling Medieval Town and the Palace of the Grand Master, the location truly highlighted the property's historical significance, allowing my family and me to explore the rich tapestry of Rhodes' past effortlessly. The spacious apartment was a welcoming retreat, featuring a lovely balcony that overlooked the charming street and a well-appointed kitchenette where we prepared light meals after our excursions. Our mornings began delightfully with a rich buffet breakfast, offering a variety of local Mediterranean dishes that kept my history-loving palate satisfied. The peaceful pool area, free from the usual chaos of reserved sunbeds, provided a much-needed oasis for relaxation after our adventures at nearby attractions like Kanari Beach and the Aquarium of Rhodes. The warmth of the friendly staff, who happily engaged in conversations about the local culture, added to our enriching experience as both travelers and learners. While the beds could improve in softness for a more restful sleep-something I found particularly challenging-our overall stay was filled with fond memories, delicious food, and a deeper appreciation for both the history and hospitality of the charming Annapolis Inn. I hope to return one day, perhaps with a new focus on the local crafts and artworks that so beautifully adorned the hotel.
